Travel - Getting to Graz

By plane:
Graz is the second largest city of Austria and very well connected to the world. There a several daily flights to Vienna and other important hubs in the middle of Europe.

Take a taxi, bus or train from the Airport Graz to the City Center

There are buses or trains every 20 to 30 minutes (Train-Timetable), with a travel time of 15 to 20 minutes. A taxi takes you 15 min to your hotel with costs of approximately 20 Euros.
 


By train:

Take e.g. the Südbahn from Vienna to Graz, over the Semmering, commonly referred to as the world’s first true mountain railway. The 2.5 hours trip from Vienna to Graz over the Semmering railway, which is in full use 150 years after its building, still impresses the traveller as a special experience by its varied landscape, the typical style of its mansions and the characteristic sequence of viaducts and tunnel constructions.
